The ResNet Office will open for the 2010/2011 academic year on August 19, 2010. ResNet Problem Report Forms submitted prior to that date will not receive a response until the ResNet Office has opened. Please visit the ResNet website for the ResNet Office hours. The ResNet website and FAQ will be updated throughout the summer as new information for students about ResNet and student computing is avaiable. Please refer to the ResNet FAQ for important computing information, including the most common questions that ResNet receives throughout the summer. All of these questions have solutions that students can easily follow to quickly correct their computer problems while on or off campus. Topics covered in the ResNet FAQ include Zimbra webmail (checking mail, quota), malware removal instructions, and Prism login questions. Questions about ResNet at Saint Mary's College can be directed to resnet@saintmarys.edu during the summer months. |
The Trumper Computer Cluster will resume 24/7 access on August 22, 2010. The Trumper Computer Cluster will be staffed beginning August 24, 2010. Cluster Problem Report Forms submitted prior to that August 24 will not receive a response until Trumper is staffed. Topics covered in the Clusters FAQ include cluster policies, printing issues (stapling, double-sided printing, print accounting), e-mail questions, and how to burn data CDs from the cluster computers. To report a problem with a computer or printer in the computer clusters at Saint Mary's College please contact clusters@saintmarys.edu during the summer months. |

Faculty and Staff can contact the Helpdesk for assistance.
Students may contact the Helpdesk for assistance with Prism PIN resets and ID cards. All other student requests will be redirected to the ResNet Office. You can walk in or call (574) 284-4715 the Helpdesk with your computer questions - the Helpdesk is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m in 123 Haggar College Center. You can e-mail the Helpdesk at helpdesk@saintmarys.edu for assistance as well. Additionally, you can consult the Helpdesk website and FAQ at http://www.saintmarys.edu/it/helpdesk/ for documentation to help solve your computer problem. |
